About the Owner
Chevon Barber is the CEO and Founder of Vonche Business Services. The idea to start a business came about while in college where she noticed many of her classmates were struggling financially and racking up thousands of dollars of debt to afford tuition. After graduating college and entering the workforce, Chevon realized her colleagues were also experiencing financial difficulties. Many were struggling to keep up with inflation, recessions, home ownership burdens, raising children, the costs of weddings and divorce, the challenges that come with untimely illness, subsequent medical bills, bankruptcy, identity theft, unemployment, as well as caring for the needs of aging parents.
Chevon decided that after experiencing some of the above scenarios personally, she needed to equip herself with more sound financial literacy. She has had the pleasure of working in the insurance industry, financial services industry and in the healthcare industry and has amassed over 20 years of experience.
Chevon has a passion for helping people who have not been shown how to improve their financial literacy.
Her goal is to help people to better prepare for the unexpected and live a great life.
